Aftermarket technical leads from dealer networks in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Turkey, and other countries gathered at Chery's Wuhu headquarters, alongside the overseas after-sales team, for a systematic, hands-on intensive training focused on Chery's product portfolio. This was more than a cross-border technical exchange—it was a strategic move to deepen Chery Commercial Vehicle's global service footprint.
The program was designed to substantially elevate local technical service capabilities in target markets, empowering overseas dealer partners with solid professional expertise. The driving philosophy: let competence drive service excellence, and let quality standards win global trust.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Cui Jian, Deputy General Manager of the Overseas Business Division, delivered a welcoming address, extending a warm reception to the visiting dealer aftermarket teams. He encouraged all participants to make the most of this concentrated learning opportunity, to engage deeply, share insights, and translate their takeaways into tangible service strength for their respective markets—officially kicking off the training session.
The curriculum was co-delivered by senior engineers from Chery's Commercial Vehicle Research Institute and technical experts from key supplier partners. It covered the full spectrum of core product technologies, including complete vehicle architecture, air suspension systems, electrical systems, chassis systems, and engine systems. In classroom sessions, trainees dove deep into the technical nuances of each system, engaging in robust discussions with instructors around real-world maintenance cases. Their enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity were palpable throughout.
The hands-on segment adhered to a "real vehicles, real parts, real problems" approach, with structured drills across engine, transmission, and complete-vehicle diagnostics. Engine training used the M9T China-VI diesel engine as the platform for disassembly, reassembly, and precision measurement; transmission training covered end-to-end procedures for typical fault detection and evaluation; and full-vehicle diagnostic training leveraged dedicated aftermarket scanners to build data-flow analysis and troubleshooting skills—all under the close guidance of seasoned after-sales technical mentors, ensuring every participant got practical, applicable experience.
During the program, trainees toured Chery's Smart Manufacturing Plant 1, visiting the crash test lab, welding shop, and final assembly line. They witnessed first-hand Chery's intelligent manufacturing capabilities and rigorous quality control systems—from precision automated welding and exacting crash-test standards to meticulous process controls on the assembly line. Every step reflected Chery's relentless pursuit of quality excellence.
At the closing ceremony, Deputy General Manager Cui Jian presented completion certificates to all participants, commending their professional dedication and inquisitive spirit throughout the training. He urged them to bring what they had learned back to their markets and continue strengthening local service capabilities.
