As May begins, the world bursts into life. In a spring when Chery Commercial Vehicle's globalization strategy is gathering full momentum, what surges is not only nature's vibrant renewal but also a powerful tide of industrial growth.
On May 8, the first batch of orders under the KD export-to-Africa project of Chery Holding Overseas Business Division was successfully shipped from the Kaifeng Comprehensive Bonded Zone in Henan Province. As the division's first overseas order exceeding 4,000 units since its establishment, this shipment represents not just a major leap in sales volume, but also a crucial, milestone step in its strategic deployment across the African market.

At the "4,000 Departure • Witnessed by the World" shipping ceremony, Ji Dapeng, Assistant General Manager of Chery Holding Overseas Business Division, remarked that every breakthrough on a key project is the crystallization of collective wisdom and tireless dedication. He encouraged all upstream and downstream teams to own their roles and collaborate closely, accelerating progress while applying even higher standards to ensure quality, quantity, and efficiency, and bringing this shipment to a perfect close.

To precisely hit the shipping schedule, the Chery KD export packaging base in Kaifeng had long been running at full capacity. Equipped with advanced automated production lines, the base organized production with high efficiency, dramatically shortened the export cycle, and ensured every batch of parts was assembled on time and dispatched without delay.
The packaging of KD parts is also a work of ingenuity. To prevent bumps and damage in transit, the technical team created custom packaging solutions for each part, significantly improving safety during long ocean voyages. At the same time, space-optimized designs notably increased container volume utilization, laying a solid foundation for efficient loading downstream. On the packing floor, clearly defined roles and seamless teamwork were on display. From meticulous counting and orderly packing to final sealing and verification, every step advanced tightly and flawlessly—busy yet uncluttered, watertight in every detail.
According to plan, the KD kits shipped this time will reach Africa in mid-July. Local production line construction will be completed in full by August, with vehicle assembly starting immediately thereafter. Taking this as a launchpad, Chery Commercial Vehicle is moving from exporting finished vehicles to exporting core components and technical standards, a triple upgrade from "product export" to "technology export" and onward to "industrial export." The KD team will also work hand-in-hand with local partners, establishing a complete production line on the ground and truly embodying the global vision of "In somewhere, For somewhere, Be somewhere."

Going forward, Chery Holding Overseas Business Division will keep optimizing its global supply chain footprint and go all out to grow and strengthen its commercial vehicle export business. With superior full-lifecycle solutions, it will create even greater value for customers, making solid strides and scaling new heights on the international stage.
